Smart Guy review

Posted : 3 years, 5 months ago on 22 November 2020 05:19 (A review of Smart Guy)

Watched all the episodes on Disney + it was great to watch and check out again. However the last episode you can tell they wanted to have more of a mature storyline with all the characters. Abruptly, the show stopped. I went back into my Disney + to see if maybe the streaming just needed me to continue watching and I didn't realize I had watched the last episode of the series. Kind of sad how it ended but, all n' all a great show for it's time.

Tread review

This documentary is tragic (spoilers) -This is the tragic story of one man who was bullied in a small town and took judgement in his own hands. I couldn't stop watching - my mouth was left open in shock and sadness.

Gargoyles review

Posted : 3 years, 10 months ago on 12 June 2020 07:52 (A review of Gargoyles)

I just watched all '3' Seasons. I can see why people address the cartoon as only 2 seasons. The first 2 seasons were so good - a lot of 'adult' themes as in relationships and feelings. The third season focuses on the Gargoyles becoming members of New York and people understanding that they live among them. It's such a great cartoon one that I loved growing up and so thankful for Disney + so I can re-watch it again!

The Hunchback of Notre Dame II review

Posted : 3 years, 10 months ago on 12 June 2020 07:36 (A review of The Hunchback of Notre Dame II)

Okay so I have to say this. I'm sure everyone has thought the same thing.
But, What is up with the animation. It's like the animators who were on probation were told to make this 'film' it was horribly made. There are some BIG actors tied to this so it wasn't something that they just hired anyone off the street. It's so confusing to see the limited animation and painting of cells. How sad. What a shame. It probably wasn't the most famous Disney 'vault' film. I remember when I was a kid and this came out I had no interest in watching it and when I found out that Esmeralda wasn't really the 'main' character I didn't bother with asking my parents for the classic Disney Doll unlike, Bell, Ariel, Pocahontas, etc...

p.s. this is the worst squeal. the others are awesome Little Mermaid, Pocahontas!!!ย ย

Never Have I Ever review

Posted : 3 years, 11 months ago on 22 May 2020 05:28 (A review of Never Have I Ever)

It was so nice to see Mindy Kailing's show Never Have I Ever! I have to say being South Asian I have never seen a cast like this - I mean there are some South Asian actors and where we pop up! When they do my eyes light up! I mean I'm not even South Asian - I'm West Indian but to see my colour skin on TV/MOVIES/NETFLIX in HOLLYWOOD ---- NOT BOLLYWOOD...!!!! It is a grand feeling since I won't watch Bollywood....

-------spoilers----------
I really like Devi and I'm so happy with the ending of the first season with her and Ben. I didn't expect to be holding tissues in the last 3 episodes. It was something that was beautifully done. I am happy to of watched Never Have I Ever. Actually when it came out on April 27.... I've lingered.... finishing it. I didn't want it to end. However today May 22, 2020 - the 10th episode it was a beautiful story.

----------end of spoilers-----------

I hope Season 2 comes out. It will definitely branch out into Devi's personal and social relationships. It was so good.

The Wrong Friend review

Posted : 4 years ago on 21 April 2020 08:05 (A review of The Wrong Friend)

This movie was.... okay.
Not much of thriller - it was hard to watch Li Eubanks .... as she was just so out -of-cast. Her character at sometimes were 'over-acting' and other actors like her boyfriend in the movie just couldn't keep up with the intense acting.

Also does anyone else think Jared Scott looks likeย

Good Boys review

Posted : 4 years ago on 10 April 2020 01:57 (A review of Good Boys)

This was such a good movie! So much better than that Coffee and Kareem movie. It was nice to see the innocence in it all. I can't believe how hard I laughed! I love it so much -
